Many Lakes East is located in Northwest Montana - 32 miles south of the west entrance to Glacier National Park, 16 miles southeast of Kalispell, and 12 miles north of Bigfork and Flathead Lake. There is abundant wild life in the area, including white tail deer, elk, black bears, occasional grizzly bears and mountain lions. Moose have also been observed on rare occasions. Other wildlife species in the area include fox, ermine, lynx, wild turkeys and rabbits. The area is in the heart of excellent hiking, fishing and hunting country, and is located in the foothills of the Swan mountain range and near the Jewel Basin wilderness area.

Many Lakes East consists of 53 tracts ranging in size from 5 to 25 acres, with a 5 acre minimum tract size. There are residences on approximately half of the tracts, which are occupied by either full time or part time residents. Property owners in Many Lakes East include those from Montana, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio, Texas, Washington and Wisconsin.

Many Lakes East consists of rugged, heavily timbered land with open meadows and superb mountain views. Tree species include western tamarack, lodge pole pine, scotch pine, cedar, ponderosa pine, douglas fir, spruce, mountain maple, aspen and birch trees. The elevation ranges from 3000 to 3300 feet. The climate is mild, with pleasant summers and mild winters. Precipitation differs from the Flathead Valley floor, with the area receiving more rain and snow because of the proximity to the Swan Mountain range.

The air is clean, the views are spectacular, and the life style is well suited for those who love the outdoors. Residents of Many Lakes East are dedicated to preservation of the ambience of the area, protection of property values and preservation of their life style.
